Dear Mr. Milstein:

In the years since its dedication, the menorah which you designed as part of our Holocaust Memorial, has elicited impressive comments from the people wo have visited our memorial. You may recall we were among the first to install a Holocaust memorial in a synagogue. Your menorah is a central feature of that tribute, and expresses in sensitive and concrete form, our desire to bestow a measure of eternity upon those of our people who were so cruelly done to death.

Your sculpture is both a menorah and an eternal light, not sad but uplifting. We are grateful for having had the opportunity to benefit from your creativity.
